Harry Damus, Psy.D., BCBA-D


Dr. Damus’ work started as a community integration specialist at the Developmental Disabilities Institute in Long Island, NY. He worked directly with children with Autism and other Developmental Disabilities. After earning a Master’s degree from The City University of New York, he took on a second employment at United Cerebral Palsy of Nassau as a Behavior Specialist providing psychological services which include individual, group therapy, and psychological testing to clients with Traumatic Brain Injuries.


In 2002, he relocated to Miami, FL to further his education and enrolled in the Doctoral program at Carlos Albizu University. He worked at Sunrise Community, Inc as a Behavior Specialist where he designed and implemented individualized behavior plans for children and adults with Developmental Disabilities. In 2004, he became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

While enrolled in the Doctoral program, he completed his clinical practicum at Goodman Psychological Center where he provided individual, couple, family, and group therapy. He conducted Psychological evaluations and Psycho educational evaluations. He also provides ABA therapy for children with Autism.


He completed a pre-doctoral internship at the South Florida Evaluation & Treatment Center, a 238- bed Forensic Hospital. At the hospital he conducted Psychological Assessments, including Malingering Assessments and provided Anger Management Group Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Group Therapy and Cognitive Group Therapy. He also developed Specialized Behavior Plan.
